Benefits: • Salary is negotiable based on experience • Signing Bonus • 401(k) • Health Benefits • PTO • Bonuses • Flexible Remote working Responsibilities: • Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed • Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases • Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action • Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process • High levels of self-esteem, empathy, and compassion • Ability to put clients at ease • Understanding of how clients’ problems are more than legal problems to them • Exceptional communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Extremely comfortable with technology (and realizes that Smart Phones might be smarter than us) Qualifications: • Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • Hard-working TEAM player responsible for all aspects of a client's case including communicating with clients and other counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing for and attending court hearings, settlement conferences, performing legal research, and preparing for and attending trials • At least 2 years of family law experience is required and non-negotiable • California Bar License in good standing is required Compensation: $85,000+
