The Grounds Guys of Collingwood is now taking resumes for individuals to join there Landscape Garden crew teams. The position being searched for is a head crew leader to take the role of being able to supervise multiple staff members and lead by example.

The crew is responsible for all aspects of Spring and Fall cleanup including the weekly maintenance gardens including but not limited to the following:

-Plant identification

-Weeding, Cultivating

-Edging, pruning and dead heading

-Planting and maintenance of Annuals and Perennials

-Operating power equipment including Hedge trimmer/Gas powered pruner and leaf blower

-The use of assorted hand tools

-Spreading soil and mulch

-Watering and fertilizing

-Daily property reports

The successful applicant will:

-Be physically fit and energetic with good work ethic

-Superior attention to detail

-Be willing and learn and follow direction

-Be willing to work in all climate

-Enjoy working within a team

-Will have valid and clean G licence

-CSA approved steel toe boots or shoes
