You have a strong work ethic and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. You have experience in landscaping and at least 3-5 years of experience, as well as proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.Essential Responsibilities

    Installs paver patios; stone, wood, or segmental block retaining walls.Understands Planting of trees and shrubbery to include sod. Operates, proficiently, a variety of mechanical equipment, including bobcats, backhoes, plate compactors, stone grinders, drills, gas and electric chop saws, demolition hammers, and jack hammers.

    Operates automatic and stick shift vehicles, such as dump trucks and truck and trailer combinations.

    Routinely interacts with clients by way of introductions at the beginning of a job, answering questions, responding to client’s requests, making reasonable changes to the plan, and providing a walk-through at the job’s completion.

    Completes the necessary paperwork including timesheets, work orders, change orders, material requisitions, and client tickets.

    Plans and organizes the job, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available. Also ensures that job is completed in the most time-efficient manner.

    Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.

    Briefs President of Company and Sales Staff and make recommendations on job status, personnel issues, or client concerns.

    Helps with snow removal during the winter months as needed.

    Maintains assigned equipment and notifies mechanic of needed repairs.

    Occasionally applies chemicals under the direction of licensed custom applicator.

    Helps with sales and growing the company

    Low Voltage Lighting experience is a plus

    Performs landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, fertilizer application, weed control, aeration, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning

    Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers

    Performs landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding

    Addresses clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the Team Leader as appropriate

    Assists Team Leader with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available

    Assists with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Team Leader

    Applies chemicals under the direction of a licensed applicator, and with all required protective equipment

    Performs other duties as required

    Job Requirements:

    High school diploma/GED (or current student status)

    One year experience in this or a related field is required

    Valid Driver's License with clean record

    Willingness to work occasional (paid) overtime

    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
