Operations Manager / Business Partner

As Operations Manager, you will provide leadership to all areas within the company including sales, operations, customer service, safety, financial stability and administrative functions. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
You are a proactive leader and self-starter who can interact with the public and our employees. You have a strong work ethic and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. You have experience in landscaping and at least two years of supervisory experience, as well as proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.
Specific Responsibilities:
Coach, train, and mentor staff to ensure they are consistently delivering high quality service
Maintain a clean and well-stocked office and shop
Proactive customer relations, including mitigating damages and liability issues
Secure and maintain telecommunications system
Ensure all employees receive the required education and training necessary to perform their jobs and grow in their career
Improve upon current processes to ensure quality, profitability, and future growth
Capable of taking over full responsibilities when the owner or Production Manager/Team Leader is out of office
Job Requirements:
Background in landscape industry
At least 2 years supervisory experience
Valid Driver's License
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applications
This is a great opportunity for the right person. Expect 50+ hours per week during the spring/summer and 25 during winter. Pay is Salary plus Profit sharing. Willing to share 50%+ of all profit with the right person to take this business to the next level.
