The Grounds Guys of Atlanta is actively interviewing for a Maintenance Lead position. To be considered, you have managed crews most recently within the last two years of employment in the landscape industry. A current and unrestricted Georgia Driver's license, verifiable through background check. All Leads are required to drive for the Grounds Guys.

Specific Responsibilities:

Perform landscape maintenance tasks on high end residential properties, this is not mow, blow and go.

Perform reel mowing, on Zoysia and Bermuda lawns, as well as fertilizer applications, weed control, aeration, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, hand pruning a wide variety of landscape plants.

Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, reel mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers

Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch and straw applications, sod installations, small tree and ornamental shrub plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding

Address clients' questions, comments and concerns on site and represent The Grounds Guys professionally

Job Requirements:

Two years of recent successful experience in this field is required

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature; bending, kneeling, reaching, standing for long periods of time, walking, pushing, pulling

Extensive plant and horticultural knowledge; and how to care for these plants in the Georgia landscape.
