Hiya! We are looking for a college or grad student to replace our longtime (3 years!) Saturday night sitter who has now graduated and moved to London. We live in Summit and have two boys, 5 and 8. Their bedtime is 8:30, no allergies, nothing out of the ordinary. Just regular cute kids with two working parents who like to let loose on Saturday nights. We are looking for someone who has their own transportation and can babysit from 5:30pm to 10/11/12 (depends on the weekend) most Saturday nights throughout the year. We pay $100 per evening via Venmo. We want someone who can: - Help give them dinner (we will cook it for them but you will sit with them while they eat) - Help clean up dinner, with their help, including clean off table, put dishes in dishwasher, wipe down counters - Give them a shower/bath - Play with them before bed and make sure they clean up their games/toys - Read books with them - Settle them into their bedtime routine, including helping our 5-yo brush teeth - Put the kids to bed Our requirements: - Must be great with kids and just an overall good human being; as our regular sitter, you become part of our family! - We are open to male or female babysitters - Must have your own transportation to and from our house in Summit (right off Exit 9 on Rt 24) - Proven experience being responsible for children, including camp counselor, coach and/or babysitting, for example - At least 3 professional references, at least one being childcare related. The others can be from any job or from a professor - Must be available for most Saturday nights; we travel 6 - 7 weekends out of the year, but otherwise are in town.
