    A Global Comnmercial and Investment Bank with 2 Trillion dollars in Assets is looking for an Associate to join their U.S. M&A team. The team has 10 people and focuses on cross-border and domestic M&A transactions. Historically the group has done large, public deals. This role will do more of that but also middle market, sell side M&A. The ideal candidate will be an Associate with 1 or 2 years of experience doing midde makrket M&A.

    The Role:
    • Prepare and deliver client presentations and transaction execution materials including confidential information memoranda, management presentations and credit committee and sales force memoranda.
    • Performing extensive valuation and pricing analyses
    • Assisting in all steps of the transaction process
    • Playing key leadership roles in the transaction execution process
    • Taking responsibility for deal execution of industry-specific transactions
    • Maintaining client relations during the deal execution period and building industry-specific or product-specific expertise
    • Initiating new client relationships and expanding a business franchise within a designated industry/product sector
    • Prepare pitch books for client presentations
    • Play an active role in supporting the Head of Industrials & Diversified Industries and senior Industrials bankers in their relationship management responsibilities with direct client interaction
    • Provide value added financial guidance in support of deal advancement and deal target identification mechanism, by way of research and financial analysis.

    Requirements:
    • Have previous experience in investment banking, corporate finance or M&A
    • Knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk & pricing analysis
    • Experience coordinating product experts and creating Corporate Finance pitches for clients, including capital markets financing, risk management, capital structure, etc
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Must have a good number of years of banking experience from a strong platform
    • M&A transaction experience preferred
    • Excellent analytical and modeling skills
    • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
    • Team player but ability to work independently as well
    • Strong communication and modeling skills
    • Series 79 & 63
    • Enthusiastic, Willingness to learn and adapt, motivated and a desire to succeed
    • Previous experience in the industrials good but not essential
    • Work well in a team environment and have a proven track record
