The Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytics (BIRA) BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST will directly impact and participate in the development and maintenance of the organization's reporting portfolio and planning tools. In this critical role, you will provide analysis, insights, data, and analytical support to department stakeholders and ensure deliverables meet the objectives of our strategic goals. We need someone who can apply complex mathematical and statistical theories to collect, organize, understand, and summarize data to help The Henry Ford and various community and education programs. This is an on-site/work-from-home hybrid position reporting to the Head of Analytics & Business Intelligence.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in data and analytics
2 or more years of work experience focused on Data Analytics and Reporting
1 or more years of GIS (Geospatial Information Systems) experience
Proficiency to build data visualization in Power BI & EXCEL
Basic SQL knowledge
Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS
SPECIAL & PREFERRED SKILLS
Master's degree, preferred
ARCGIS, Business Analyst, StoryMaps, ESRI
Experience using existing large databases (azure, amazon web services, etc.)
Experience with SAS, R (or similar programming languages) to conduct complex statistical analysis and model small to large datasets
Experience using APIs and external data sources
