    Our seasonal part-time Painters at The Henry Ford are responsible for helping keep our campus beautiful. We maintain all indoor and outdoor non-historic painted surfaces, which includes the museum, education buildings, theater and Greenfield Village. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our mission while enjoying our one-of-a-kind environment. If you prefer an office job where you never feel the sun or smell the flowers, this is not the job for you.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Prepares surfaces for painting
    • Paints exterior and interior surfaces using brushes, rollers or spray guns
    • Acts as a team player and provides expertise within team and with other teams as appropriate
    • Contributes to the effective team management of all problems, issues and opportunities
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

    • 18 years of age or older
    • Valid drivers' license
    • General knowledge of painting techniques and tools preferred

    THIS IS A PHYSICAL POSITION THAT REQUIRES FREQUENT STANDING AND WALKING AND OCCASIONAL LIFTING. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OUTDOORS ON LADDERS OR SCAFFOLDING, IN ALL TYPES OF CONDITIONS AND IN NON-AIR-CONDITIONED INTERIORS.
