Job Description
EARLY CAREER TALENT SPECIALIST
At The Heritage Group ("THG"), we seek to develop an early-in-career talent pipeline into our roles throughout our companies and divisions from high school and college internships to full-time positions across our organization. The Early Career Talent Specialist ("Specialist") will work closely with our divisions across THG to ensure robust pipelines for apprenticeships, internships and, when appropriate, undergraduate recruiting into new full-time positions. The Specialist will be the university and candidate relationship partner, responsible for organizing and coordinating recruitment and programming for the next generation of talent at The Heritage Group.
The Specialist will be the primary relationship builder and execution partner with external partners for recruiting and program development, including colleges and universities, high schools, and workforce development program partners such as Orr Fellows and Ascend Indiana. In addition, the Specialist will lead supporting efforts for early career talent, such as our Brothers Scholar program that helps employee-children achieve their post-secondary education dreams.
A significant responsibility is the leadership of THG's internship experience. The Heritage Group internships offer the possibility of getting to know the company, gather practical experience, develop personal capabilities, build a personal network, and can be the launching pad to deepen interests within a subject of study and future role at THG. The Specialist will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience from recruiting and hiring to program development, including the design and development of orientation, programming, and cultural immersion to supplement the day-to-day work experience. The Specialist will be a trusted and reliable partner to internal business leadership and recruiting management to help identify and fulfill recruiting requests as needed through universities and external workforce development partners.
This is an exciting role at THG that embodies our passion for talent and opportunities for young people to be engaged in and contributing to our work at an early point in their career.
