This global manufacturing company is seeking a strong Senior Financial Analyst to join their corporate FP&A team. The company has been in business for decades, has revenues well into the billions, and incredibly stable. This role is in the middle of it all. You will be able to see the entire P&L and be tasked with working on the more important projects for the company. As a result, they are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to question the numbers and be able to talk directly to senior management. Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation reporting packages including Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews as well as analysis of important business trends, actual versus forecast and budget variances
• Help prepare analysis, commentary and presentation material for board meetings, operational reviews, management meetings & financial reviews
• Involvement in the development of annual operating plan and forecasts
• Provide timely and accurate reports using various information systems
• Perform detailed analyses and provide insight and summaries to the CFO and Sr. Management
• Develop Financial models to streamline analysis and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience (financial analysis/forecasting/budgeting, and variance analysis)
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and modeling
• Strong business and analytical skills: the ability to multi-task, stay organized and prioritize, meet deadlines, and take on additional responsibilities as necessary in a continually evolving environment
• Effectively partner across teams and functions
• Strong relationship building and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to interpret and summarize data to aid management in achieving strategic and operational goals
