ASSOCIATE ANALYST - ASSET MANAGEMENT - IRVINE, CA
A leading real estate company is seeking an Associate Analyst to join their Asset Management team. The Associate Analyst will support property and portfolio operating performance, capital investment decision making and special projects related to the Asset Management team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform analyses of operating performance for portfolios and priority assets and comparison with industry ratios
- Perform analyses on labor reports, real estate taxes and other relevant items
- Perform analyses for capital investment plans, budgeting and investment performance
- Prepare ad hoc analyses including dispositions, lease restructures, and construction loan analysis
- Draft investment memos and present to leading stakeholders
- Assist Asset Management and Investments teams with due diligence for underwriting acquisitions and dispositions
- Work closely with FP&A, Accounting and Legal teams with special projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related field
- MBA in Finance from top-tier school preferred, not required
- 1+ year of experience in real estate investment finance, private equity, asset management or corporate FP&A in the healthcare sector a plus
- New grads with an impressive intern background and top schools welcome
- CFA or CAIA tracking a plus
- Expert knowledge using spreadsheet programs (including Microsoft Excel) and presentation programs (including PowerPoint)
- Strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and team work oriented
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic corporate environment
