    JOB SUMMARY

    AS THE NEW/ FIRST TIME CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, REPORTING TO THE CEO AND FOUNDER, you will be responsible for ensuring that assigned business operations are efficient and effective. You will ensure that the proper management of resources, distribution of services to customers, and analyses of systems are conducted. You MUST have a strong and proven operational leadership track record, have experience working in a PRE-IPO start up company (and ideally taking a company public) and have familiarity with SaaS based Recurring Revenue Streams and Consumer Services/Products.

     

    OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

    • Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs
    • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
    • Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met
    • Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
    • Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary

    DAILY AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement
    • Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO
    • Directly oversee operations, HR, and accounting, and partner with the CEO on sales management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near term
    • Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability
    • Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
    • Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
    • MBA from a top Tier Univeristy
    • 12-15 years consumer services/products experience, including 10 years at the management level
    • Experience in personnel management including hiring, supervision, evaluation and succession planning
    • Ability to multi-task as well as stay on task and concentrate with constant interruptions
    • Must be able to make business decisions based on financial reports and similar facts
    • Must have Pre-IPO start up experience and ideally experience with Fundraising at significant levels.
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Must be able to read and interpret business records and statistical reports
    • Must be able to analyze and interpret policies established by administrators
