JOB TITLE: Brand Marketing Intern
LOCATION: Atlanta, Georgia
TIMING: 8 weeks (June 14th – August 6th) on site (preferred)
SUMMARY:
The Honey Pot is looking for a Brand Marketing Intern to join the Marketing Team and be a part of the most innovative small brand in feminine hygiene. This is a fast-paced and motivated team who is passionate about sharing natural products with the world! We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive culture and are looking for a talented summer intern to help us continue to raise the bar.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
The Honey Pot seeks to promote female health through plant-based products. Founded in 2012 by Beatrice Dixon, our company was born out of Beatrice's need to heal herself naturally. She became a woman on a mission, searching for natural remedies to help prevent her unruly infections. The Honey Pot's mission is to educate, support, and provide people around the world with the tools and resources that promote feminine health and wellness. We do this by engaging and empowering the people we serve one honey pot at a time. Through our functional, plant-based feminine care system, we provide people with a healthy alternative to feminine care that is free of chemicals, parabens, carcinogens, and sulfates. Our washes are gynecologist approved, clinically tested, and pH balanced. Say hello to the future of feminine care!
RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to assisting the team on day-to-day needs and taking on ad hoc projects, you will work on one major project to be completed in your 8-week internship. Examples of this could include (but are not limited to):
? Support the marketing team across all channels, including (but not limited to) in-store, ecommerce, digital advertising, social media, and PR.
? Monitor the competitive landscape (in-store and online) and report to the broader team.
? Ideate on innovative storytelling and programs to drive awareness and build advocacy for feminine health and wellness.
? Assist with research and vetting potential brand marketing opportunities aligned to category-specific goals.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
? Must be a team player with a passion for storytelling.
? Must care deeply about wellness and personal care.
? Excellent organization and communication skills are essential, including written communication.
? Must be informed on the latest trends and platforms across the social media landscape
? Must be proficient in Google Apps (Drive, Docs, Slides, etc.) & Microsoft Office Suite as well as an avid user of social media. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.
? Undergraduate degree required/in process.
