Responsibilities: • Control department costs that are under your management, such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment, and work with vendors to get the best products at a cost-effective price • Provide guidance and direction to staff, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance to make the kitchen run efficiently • Create new and unique menu items and specials using various ingredients in an innovative way • Recruit, train, and lead all kitchen personnel while instilling a sense of teamwork through positive feedback, mentoring, and support • Make decisions for daily culinary operations, including exceeding guest expectations and increasing revenue and profit Qualifications: • Outstanding management abilities, as well as experience leading, inspiring, and building a team • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED • This role requires 7-8 years of culinary experience Compensation: $65,000 plus generous bonus program
