    We are looking for an experienced legal assistant. It is preferred that you have knowledge of working with a Personal Injury or Worker's Compensation firm. The ideal candidate would be someone that has additional experience working with Pre-Settlement companies at your law firm. The position will involve working for a growing company that has only expanded during the current Covid environment. We help people and this is what makes us special for a work environment. We are looking for someone with strong customer service phone skills and patience. Someone that can handle multiple roles and juggle multiple work requirements without getting flustered. We are very fast-paced! The role involves answering phones, answering questions about our services, creating contracts for approved clients, deploying money via checks, e-checks, and ACH payments, and following up with Accounts Receivable accounts. The role involves handling 2 departments - Intake, Contracting/Funding, and Accounts Receivable. We offer benefits, 401K, and Profit-Sharing. Responsibilities: • At least 3 years in a law firm handling personal injury or worker's compensation claims • Must be detailed and comfortable handling money • Strong communication skills • Cautious and methodical in decision making • Professional to handle clients that are in dire straits • Strong customer services skill • Someone who is decisive in processes and policies • Excelling problem-solving skills and error resolutions • Excel in a fast-paced environment Qualifications: • Knowledge of personal injury and/or worker's compensation injury • Understands these concepts: policy limits, injuries, pre-existing conditions, pre-litigation, litigation, demand letters, settlements, liability, pre-settlement financing, interest as it pertains to loans, property damage, medical bills • Able to discuss with interested clients about our services • Able to work well with clients that are not always polite and demanding while staying positive and professional • Strong work history of staying at jobs Compensation: $35,000 - $45,000
