    Maintenance Technician and Hot Tub Tech The Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls is hiring a full-time maintenance technician. You'll be responsible for fixing minor plumbing, electrical, and other issues. Additionally, the role involves maintaining hot tubs by testing pH levels, draining, scrubbing, and refilling. Some landscaping and grounds keeping tasks, like mowing and mulching, may be required. In winter, snow removal duties may be assigned. A company vehicle and necessary tools are provided. If you refer a new employee who stays in good standing for 90 days, you'll receive a $500 bonus. Responsibilities: • Mowing and weed-eating grounds, mulching when necessary • Fixing minor plumbing, electrical and other issues • Checking and maintaining hot tub standards • Respond to guest complaints, change light bulbs, check water tanks, etc. • Maintain/Clean/ change machinery and items such as ice machines, furnace filters, light bulbs, water filters, etc. • Maintenance on vehicles • On-call every 3 weeks for after-hours calls • Troubleshooting equipment • Other tasks as assigned by the head maintenance supervisor • Plowing/Shoveling Snow Qualifications: • Demonstrated minor maintenance skills encompassing electrical and plumbing tasks • Ability to work independently and adhere to a comprehensive list of responsibilities • Possession of a valid driver's license is required • Successful completion of a criminal background check is mandatory • Attention to detail is essential • Proficiency in utilizing hand and power tools is necessary • On-the-job training will be provided • Reliable transportation to the workplace is a prerequisite Compensation: $14 - $16 hourly
