We are looking for a bookkeeper to join our team! The candidate must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills while multi-tasking. A construction or project accounting background is preferred. This is a new position that will evolve as the company grows. The position can be a flexible part-time position or full-time. About our Company TIC is a small 16-person company with an uplifting. fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. We are a home management company with a small residential construction division primarily serving Kiawah Island residents. Responsibilities * Track project costs * Prepare quotes for projects based on information from project managers * Process ARB deposits and review fees * Track ARB deposits and submit requests for deposit refunds upon project completion * Track credit card receipts related to projects * Compare vendor invoices to quotes and track changes to projects * Classify and input vendor invoices into QBO * Provide accounting and clerical support * Backup all other accounting processes Skills * Experience with QBO * Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel * Attention to detail and problem solving * Construction experience preferred * Job costing experience a plus * Excellent written and verbal communication skills Pay: TBD based on experience Experience: Accounting: 3 years (preferred) QBO: 2 years (preferred) Benefits include PTO and health insurance Possibility of remote work after a year We are looking for a local candidate and no relocation services are available.
