Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide superior customer service to all internal/external business partners • Assume ownership and timeliness in handling agency inquiries and policy change requests in an efficient, accurate and professional manner • Responsible for processing changes in a fast-paced inbound phone environment. Changes include Quotes, Endorsements, Re-writes, Policy Cancelations etc. • Demonstrate the ability to analyze information to make appropriate decisions and solve problems • Maintain basic knowledge of Property and Casualty, principals and company products while following basic underwriting guidelines • Effectively navigate multiple systems (candidates will be trained on Proprietary Chubb systems applications) to research, analyze and resolve customer inquiries. • Must be able to navigate and be familiar with Microsoft Office Word (use of internal templates in Word) and Excel (data entry) • Maintain established levels of productivity and quality standards within a fast-paced environment. SLAs will be reviewed with candidates during interview. Process assigned work within the established timeframes SKILLS: • Strong customer service skills including oral and written communication • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices • Ability to handle multiple priorities within strict time constraints. • Need to be prepared to work and participate in a team environment • Possesses the ability to work independently • Demonstrate commitment to team and departmental goals. • Ability to make informed decisions, achieving the appropriate results. • Data entry skills are required, along with being detailed oriented • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office systems, Outlook and navigating through multiple systems EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: College Degree preferred as this is tracking for a temp to perm career opportunity, however, High school diploma or GED will be considered. 0-2 years customer service-related experience required. Phone, Data Entry and or Processing experience a plus.
