    We are looking for a proven Sales Professional to join our Client's team, promoting radiotherapy systems that focus on enabling patients fighting cancer to live longer, better lives. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for generating and closing sales opportunities in the assigned territory.

    The successful candidate must have excellent experience selling in a hospital environment and is well-versed and comfortable promoting high value capital equipment through KOL and C-suite presentations in an extended sales cycle experience (15-20 months on average). Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills, with expertise in solution selling are required. To be successful in this role you will need to hunt for new business, be persistent, have strong presentation skills and have a track record of closing business.


    Geography for this TSM role includes Southern California, (Los Angeles and south) and Arizona.

    Candidate can reside in Los Angeles, Orange County or Phoenix.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build a sales funnel to meet or exceed order volume targets for the region as well as, individual assigned objectives by penetrating competitive accounts and developing existing customers.
    • Maintain and gain market share within the region and will be able to manage conflicting strategic priorities and multiple opportunities to create long-term success.
    • Manage and be accountable for business issues and opportunities within the territory.
    • Lead customer interactions in a manner that helps them identify underlying needs, wants, and concerns and effectively present solutions in a collaborative manner that resonates with all important stakeholders.
    • Responsible for all activities within region – develop region strategy, account & relationship management including KOL’s and Luminary Sites.
    • Responsible for account strategy, i.e. Pricing, Product, Site Visits, Presentations, etc.
    • Work closely with marketing, service, patient access and clinical support teams to develop the overall territory sales plan and accurately forecast numbers to ensure order volume targets are met and exceeded.
    • Responsible for managing and reporting on the region’s operating plan, including forecast, funnel, closing deals, competitive market, and Win/Loss quarterly reporting
    • Interface with the Service Management team within the region to ensure high customer satisfaction including ownership in selling upgrades and involvement with equipment turnover.
    • Keep abreast of Radiation Oncology industry trends, reimbursement changes, competitive landscape and current product and service portfolios.


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
    • A minimum of 5 years successful sales experience with the ability to manage a large multi-state territory.
    • A minimum of 8-10 years successful sales experience promoting high value, long sales cycle capital equipment product(s)
    • Experience in the radiation oncology space is a plus
    • Proven consultative, solution sales professional with ability to build a large and sustainable funnel for the region.
    • Strong executive level selling, negotiation and facilitation skills are required.
    • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the drive and persistence to overcome obstacles are paramount to succeed in this position.
    • Financial analysis skills, strong organizational skills and project management experience required.
    • Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to create multi-year strategic deals
