    The Account Executive is a medical sales representative who generates and maintains productive business relationships with the professional medical community, providing superior oxygen and other respiratory services to their patient population. The territory for this position encompasses Sacramento and surrounding communities. Call points include cardiologists, pulmonologists, family practice and sleep therapy specialists. This position is perfect for someone with strong B2B sales experience who is looking to begin working in medical sales or who has experience selling respiratory or DME products, The ideal candidate has a strong new business development acumen and is able to excel in an ever-changing environment. PRIMARY FUNCTION: • Build and maintain strong, long-standing relationships with patient-focused referral sources (physicians, assisted living facilities, sleep centers, hospitals, etc.) • Deliver presentations to physicians, hospital medical teams and office staff. • Research and develop potential customers in his/her territory; determine sales strategies for the company's products and services. • Identifies sales strategies that will result in exceeding performance expectations and revenue goals. • Maintain an understanding and awareness of updated industry trends, government regulations, and technical developments that impact markets. • Monitor sales activity against performance expectations. • Assist team members in the coordination of document retrieval to ensure the team collects the appropriate paperwork in a compliant and timely manner. • Timely completion of all mandated compliance training. • Uphold the standards set in the company's code of Ethics and Business Conduct guide. • Maintain compliance with Federal healthcare regulations. • Perform other duties as required to meet the business needs of the company.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • BA/BS in business administration or related field preferred. • 2+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience (Cintas, Enterprise, ADP, copiers, etc). • Light medical sales experience, especially in DME or respiratory are a definite plus. • Proof of valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Time will be divided between sitting, standing, walking and up to 100% regional travel within assigned territory-generally in personal vehicle. • Occasional lifting and loading of equipment into and out of delivery vehicles and patient homes. • Minimum physical requirements are the ability lift 52 lbs.
