    We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for an exciting, challenging and rare opportunity with a global life-sciences company, promoting a unique oncology treatment. This position is an Individual Contributor role, ideal for someone who enjoys the technical/clinical interaction with Interventional Radiology/Oncology physicians. In this role, the RSM has an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life, every day. The RSM is responsible for achieving sales objectives through prospecting, initiating new accounts and servicing existing accounts on any and all needs. The geography of the territory is Missouri (excluding Kansas City) and parts of southern Illinois such as Champaign. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement strategic account plans that will result in achieving sales goals within assigned territory • Cultivate and develop key relationships with Health Care Providers (HCP’s) that manage patient candidates • Conduct presentations (selling and training) to and business meetings with health care professionals, including on site presentations • Develop relationships in all areas of the hospital that are key to the company • Develop an understanding of the market unique to assigned territory • Continuously educate oneself on latest information related to disease states and the ever changing business environment • Continuously educate oneself on the newest and most relevant clinical articles that impact the company • Compliance with AdvaMed

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To be considered for this position you will meet the following criteria: • Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a commitment to ongoing professional and personal growth • Demonstrated strong sales performer with a minimum 10 years pharmaceutical / medical device / biotechnology sales and marketing • Experience with call points: Interventional Radiology, Oncology, Nuclear Medicine is highly preferred • Ability to effectively deal with a variety of people ranging from patients to health care professionals • Demonstrated initiative, creativity and resourcefulness, advancing ideas to actions and goal achievement • Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite. • Able to travel 50 – 65% which can include weekends/holidays, as needed
