Job Description
Our client within the Healthcare industry located in Malvern is searching for an Accountant with strong MS Excel and sales and use tax experience to support the Controller on a contract basis (6-8 weeks) to The hourly salary is $24-25. The hours at 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F with the possibility of hybrid once trained. The vaccine is required.
This position will work closely with the Controller to accurately prepare error-free sales tax calculations and MS Excel spreadsheet with support documentation, and other accounting tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
· The position will be responsible for a number of recurring daily/weekly monthly accounting duties including:
o Maintain and file multi-state sales tax, sales tax reporting and sales tax returns.
o Prepare MS Excel Spreadsheets using advanced skills (pivot tables, macros, and v look ups)
o Generate reports from the Company’s ERP system using SQL, and excel pivot tables on a daily, weekly & monthly basis.
· This position will assist with building and exporting Power BI reporting.
o Create and maintain reports for leadership, sales, ops and accounting.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field with an emphasis in accounting
· Min. 3 years of experience in accounting, advanced MS Excel use and sales and use tax preparation
· Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data with problem solving skills.
· Must be highly skilled in the use of Excel Spreadsheets – pivot table experience required.
· Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a high level of problem-solving abilities.
· Strong knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office applications, including Power BI.
· Experience with modern ERP packages; Epicor preferred
