    John Boner Neighborhood Centers is seeking a qualified and experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician Course Instructors for a contractor position. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering a comprehensive training program to equip individuals with the skills needed for success in apartment maintenance.     Key Responsibilities:

    As the Apartment Maintenance Technician Course Instructor, you will be responsible for:

    - Conducting engaging classroom sessions, workshops, and hands-on training to impart practical skills to participants. Curriculum along with comprehensive instructor materials are provided.

    - Utilizing diverse teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and ensure a well-rounded understanding of apartment maintenance.

    - Coordinating and overseeing practical, hands-on exercises to provide participants with real-world experience in apartment maintenance tasks.

    - Demonstrating proper techniques and procedures, emphasizing safety and efficiency.

    - Administering assessments, quizzes, and practical evaluations to measure participants' understanding and proficiency in apartment maintenance.

    - Providing constructive feedback to participants, identifying areas for improvement, and offering guidance on skill enhancement.

    - Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among participants.

    - Addressing any behavioral or performance issues promptly and effectively.

    - Assisting in administrative tasks related to course management, such as tracking attendance, maintaining records, and preparing progress reports.

    

    Qualifications:

    - Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in an apartment or residential setting.

    - MUST HAVE certification(s) in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC.

    - Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    - Strong organizational abilities.

    - Passion for educating and mentoring others.
