WHOLESALE E&S INSURANCE BROKER – LOS ANGELES CA

Our client is a national E&S wholesale broker looking to build and develop their footprint in Southern California. They have a national reach with regional support offices throughout the country, and plenty of markets to write all appetites of risk. 

_Applicants for this role should have existing retail insurance agency contacts/relationships in place that can be called. _

_Applicants coming from either brokerage or binding markets could work for this position, although brokerage is preferred. Below are a few responsibilities and qualifications for the role. _

• Creating relationships both with clients and colleagues to work as efficiently and effectively as possible 

• Monitor key metrics to formulate corrective action impacting new business hit, renewal retention, premium growth, and loss ratio

• Conduct broker negotiations and presentations during marketing calls

• Oversee policy and endorsement issuance by in house staff

• Develop strategy and plan to cultivate a market and drive revenue into the brokerage

• Previous E&S wholesale or MGA experience (4+ years)

• Ability to travel and visit agents

• CPCU, CIC, ARM, designations preferred
