WHO YOU ARE

You are a very detailed person who brings enthusiasm to handling guest problems and accounts receivable/payable functions. You are always eager to learn and take the initiative to propose more efficient ways of running the day-to-day operations of Accounting. People come to you to check their work, and your conscientiousness is a great asset to those with whom you work. People always notice how organized you are, which ensures you always stay on track with tasks and projects with ease. You have a high school education and ideally an associate degree or higher in Accounting or related field. You’ve worked in hotel accounting previously. You have superb organizational skills and attention to detail. You live to compile facts and figures and keep meticulous records. You use computers, various software and a calculator with ease. You are able to communicate effectively and courteously over the telephone and in person.

WHAT YOU DO

You are the key person assisting the Accounting Manager with the daily accounting functions. You provide Accounts Receivable support and process payments. You are responsible for handling guest inquiries, disputes and chargebacks. You take pride in being responsible for the daily reconciliation of F&B transactions. You assist with payroll, accounts payable and any other tasks that may arise.
