The Journey to Wellness Care Center is a growing private group practice in transition to becoming a telehealth agency. Our mission is to provide quality, holistic and accessible care to South Florida, via telehealth services. We are a faith-based practice, though our services are tailored to the needs of our individual clients regardless of their faith background. We work with clients aged 7 and up, offering individual, couples and family counseling.

Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC or LCSW) to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through life's ebbs and flows. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate and timely documentation for all clients. If you are an experienced therapist passionate about providing high-quality care and mental health solutions, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Perform intake assessments

Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children

Create individualized treatment plans for each client

Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan

Perform regular wellness checks

Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

Qualifications

Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field (Required)

Current and unrestricted license in the state of Florida (LMHC, LCSW) (Required)

Fluency in Spanish and English (required)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized
