ABOUT THE ROLE:
Kadence is seeking a temp to perm Salesforce Administrator to join our team! The Salesforce Administrator will be working hands-on with Salesforce and related cloud technologies. This is a direct client/admin relationship where you will be working 1:1 with the clients to complete requests, and milestones ensuring users get the most out of Salesforce. In addition to working on specific client orgs, you will also be assisting the internal team on overflow project work and managed services support, as needed and as your schedule allows.
This position starts out fully remote and will eventually be reporting in-office at the Houston, TX location.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Serve as the Salesforce Administrator on all Fractional Client Relationship Agreements and their respective orgs to ensure each client gets the most out of Salesforce.
Handle all basic administrative duties and routine tasks in addition to modifying and extending functionality on client orgs and databases
Tackling tickets and requests that come through the client portal -
Reports and dashboards: Report builder, building dashboards, custom record types, etc.
Object Management: Custom and formula fields, picklist, lookup fields, validation, record type, page layout updates
User Provisioning/Management: User creation, user deactivation, freeze user
Automation Creation/Management: Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, Email Alerts, Field Updates, Approval Process
Security Updates/Management: Record and Object access, Field level security, Role hierarchy, Sharing rules
Ad hoc requests: Triage user-reported issues, Unlocking user accounts, resetting passwords, tackling SSO issues, two-factor auth and certificate problems
Modifying and extending functionality on client orgs and databases
Assisting users to develop or fine-tune reports to yield meaningful insights and metrics
Provide helpful and necessary client and user support
Maintain proper documentation of processes and client procedures
Identify risks that threaten client success and recommend workarounds
Stay updated on the platform’s new tools, capabilities and updates
Occasional travel to client sites, as needed (Post-COVID and Less than 10%)
All other duties as needed and/or directed.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator (Lightning and Classic)
Demonstrated working knowledge and thorough understanding of the Salesforce platform and experience with Salesforce configuration and functional/technical capabilities
Hands-on technical experience creating reports, dashboards, object management, automation creation, approval processes, workflow rules, validation rules, custom objects, maintaining user profiles and security settings, etc.
Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong presentation skills and abilities
Highly capable of working independently majority of the time and able to keep motivated and driven
Ability to prioritize multiple competing needs and priorities
Commitment to a superior client experience
Confident and demonstrated ability in dealing with all levels of personnel
Must be ethical, honest, trustworthy and respectful
EDUCATION:
CERTIFICATIONS:
Salesforce Certified Administrator certification is required prior to hire
Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification is required prior to hire
