    Job Type: Full-time Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team at a small construction company. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting various administrative functions. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Benefits: • Competitive salary • Paid time off • Opportunities for advancement and professional development Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence. • Coordinate administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, booking appointments, and organizing travel arrangements for staff. • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock levels. • Assist with payroll processing, invoicing, and accounts receivable/payable. • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including distribution and shipping. • Maintain and update filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of documents. • Assist with HR tasks such as employee onboarding, maintaining personnel records, and coordinating employee events. • Serve as the point of contact for office maintenance, IT support, and other service providers. • Assist project managers with administrative tasks related to project documentation, subcontractor agreements, and permits. • Support the management team with special projects and tasks as assigned. Qualifications: • Previous experience in office administration or management, preferably in the construction industry. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with office management software. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines. • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus. • A positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities. Compensation: $25 hourly
