Job Description

We are looking a for a motivated and hardworking individual capable of providing excellent customer service in the sale and education of Medical Cannabis products under the Budtender role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Assisting with existing order placements.

· Assisting in the selection of products suited to their needs and providing education on the product.

· The Budtender/Receptionist should be able to answer customers questions and concerns. related to Medical Cannabis, Ex. types of strains, medical uses, and methods of consumption.

· The Budtender should be knowledgeable of operations not strictly related to budtending such as scanning Id's and working inventory pull.

· Learning and maintaining the knowledge of the dispensary POS (Point of Sale System).

· Maintain a safe and clean work area at all times.

· Checking/Scanning ID Cards for age compliance.

· Regular inventory checks to ensure sales area has adequate stock.

The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping up to date with Cannabis laws and any changes to help the company maintain compliance. The ideal Budtender needs to have excellent customer service skills and be able to translate any issues or concerns unable to handle themselves to the manager.

Requirements:

· Highschool Diploma or GED

· At least 21 years old

· Reliable Transportation

· No criminal record preventing ability to obtain a Medical Cannabis license in the state of Mississippi.

· Previous retail or customer service experience.

· Proficiency in handheld computing devices such as iPad, Tablet.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Experience in using POS systems preferred.

· Knowledge of state laws on Medical Cannabis preferred.

· Knowledge of Cannabis strains and their medical benefits preferred.

· Excellent time management and organizational skills.
