The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.
Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to be opening a Ned’s Club in the US capital, our fourth and newest location.
Responsibilities...
Manage Prospective Members Pipeline: Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective membership candidates through proactive outreach, face-to-face interactions, and networking. Independently solicit new membership applications.
Achieve Acquisition Targets: Exceed pre-determined acquisition targets set by the Head of Membership to support overall business revenue goals. Conduct outreach activities to generate warm leads and applications for future intakes.
Membership Sales and Negotiation: Conduct prospective membership sales outreach, negotiate membership rates within established parameters, and seek sign-off from the Head of Membership/Club Director to meet company revenue goals.
Plan and Execute Acquisition Events: Plan at least two acquisition events per month with support from the Events Manager. Follow up and monitor applications to measure success against set targets.
Reporting and Feedback: Provide accurate application forecasts for weekly/monthly membership reporting. Offer feedback to the Head of Membership on changing market conditions and competition trends resulting from direct solicitation and communication.
An essential part of the job is being available on a flexible schedule and being willing to work outside “office hours”. For example, nights, weekends, and holidays (as needed and when applicable). This may or may not be required on a regular basis but is mandatory when needed.

Under the guidance of the Head of Membership, establish and maintain a pipeline of potential members. Independently solicit new membership applications and exceed predetermined acquisition targets to support overall business revenue goals.
Utilize your network and Ned's network to generate key membership-based accounts and foster future growth. Build a pipeline of warm leads and applications to boost the Ned Waitlist and accurately forecast future intakes.
Within established parameters, quote and negotiate membership rates, seeking approval from the Head of Membership or Club Director to meet company revenue objectives.
Complete a predetermined number of key prospecting calls and outreach activities per week, including sales calls, partner visits, Ned acquisition events, inductions, and offsite introductions/activations.
Collaborate with the Events Manager to plan a minimum of two acquisition events per month. Ensure effective follow-up and application monitoring to measure success against set targets.
Share relevant membership acquisition information with the membership and wider departments to support future changes and enhance club growth.
Conduct weekly club tours and assume the role of direct sales contact where appropriate to attract potential members.
Contribute to weekly/monthly membership reporting with accurate application forecasts as required.
As directed, actively engage in external networking and promotional events within the hotel, industry, and customer organizations.
Offer feedback to the Head of Membership regarding changing market conditions, competition trends, and other insights gained from direct solicitation, telephone communication, and direct mail.
Establish and maintain positive employee relations to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Take on additional duties and special projects as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the club.
Devise and implement strategies to support the submission of applications and maintain a strong membership waitlist.
Contribute to the creation and execution of member events onsite and offsite to drive new member acquisition.
Initiate and host acquisition events targeting Ned's ideal members to increase membership applications.
Support the long-term development and membership growth of the club.
Assist with the membership onboarding process, personally welcoming and familiarizing new members with club facilities and culture.
