You’ll assist with the preparation of legal documents, handle office correspondence including answering phone calls and emails, arranging meetings, and scheduling. If you have experience in a law firm environment and are looking for a rewarding opportunity in the legal industry that can work around your schedule, apply now! Experience in probate/trust administration and litigation, family law, and general litigation preferred.  Responsibilities: • Handle administrative tasks and office correspondence by answering phone calls and emails, communicating with opposing attorney offices, and scheduling • Filing case documents in an organized manner for easy access • Communicate with potential clients or other attorney's offices via email, over the phone, or in-person • Preparing documents and case files for attorney use • Take care of administrative and office correspondence by answering phones, calls, and emails • Manage deadlines and deliverables • Draft various litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, briefs for attorney review, and proofread documents as needed Qualifications: Comfortable working with all Microsoft Office products Experience with legal software, litigation case management, and docketing programs • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or office environment as a legal assistant • Very strong writing abilities necessary • Self-starter who can work independently • Strong desire to serve clients and the company Compensation: $17 - $25 hourly
