Job Description: As an Immigration Paralegal at our firm, you will work closely with our attorneys to prepare and manage cases involving family-based petitions, employment-based visas, asylum applications, and other immigration procedures. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of immigration law and procedures. Responsibilities: • Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues • Prepare legal documents and support materials for visa and citizenship applications. • Assist attorneys in case preparation, filing, and correspondence. • Conduct research on case law, regulations, and immigration procedures. • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents, keeping them informed of case progress. • Maintain and organize case files and manage case tracking and status updates. • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications: • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills • Talented communicator and writer • Associate’s degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, or a related field. • Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program preferred. • At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal in immigration law. • Proficient in using legal database software and Microsoft Office. • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English; bilingual abilities are a plus. • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Compensation: $21,000 a year
