    We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our small boutique law practice. We are looking for an ambitious and detail-orientated candidate who shares in our firm's commitment to the highest ethical standards. We are looking for someone personable and professional with clients as well as opposing counsel. The candidate must be honest, hard-working, and motivated. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple clients and effectively cope with the career’s intrinsic stress. Newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply. This position is based on-site and requires in-person attendance. Responsibilities: • Handle requests for orders/motions, evidentiary hearings, depositions, temporary restraining orders, status conferences, settlement conferences, and trials • Conduct complex legal research • Effectively propound and respond to discovery • Prepare forms and draft pleadings • Share in our firm's commitment to the highest calibre of legal representation and ethical standards • Effectively manage a robust caseload of hearings and deadlines • Be personable and empathetic to the client’s situation • Managing multiple clients and properly setting expectations • Be a formidable advocate for our clients, while maintaining a professional working relationship with opposing counsels Qualifications: Required Qualifications: • Licensed by the State Bar of California (in good standing) • Juris Doctor Degree • Have an understanding of Family Law, including but not limited to Dissolution of Marriage, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, characterization of property, move-aways, PPAs, etc Compensation: Starts at $95,000 yearly dependent on experience
