    This position will take place at our school in a classroom with students from K through 3rd grade.This position will ensure adherence to our mission of bringing the best and most trusted in early childhood education and child care services to families we serve.We are seeking a Virtual Support Teacher who has experience in childhood education. This individual should be energetic, organized, a problem solver, possess great communication skills, and be able to multitask. This individual must be passionate about online education and dedicated to the success of our next generation.The Virtual Teacher is responsible for assisting elementary school students (K through 3rd grade), and providing support in a school setting while each student log in to their classes for virtual learning. This teacher will help provide an educational atmosphere where learners have the opportunity to fulfill their potential and for organizing and assisting students implementing an instructional program that results in students achieving academic success in accordance with District and state policies and laws. Must be skilled with assisting school students (grades K-3) with virtual learning and able to guide students with following individual school schedule.Primary Responsibilities:• Acquaint students to their coursework and communicating course and school requirements.• Maintain a low ration of elementary school students, K-3rd grade, in certified content area.• Support the virtual ISD program that each students has.• Track student progress and help students stay on pace to complete class by class end date.• Communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents as needed.• Respond to student messages and discussions in a timely manner within school guidelines• Supervision and management of daily classroom functions• Provide an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and learning of children• Ensure children are actively engaged in a safe, organized, stimulating classroom environmentDesired Skills & Experience:• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred• Teaching degree and/or certification for early childhood or elementary school• Strong content and subject matter knowledge• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Organization and time management skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other online tools• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule• Knowledge of (through studies or work experience) the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.
