Looking for friendly and enthusiastic applicants for a school-aged child care position at our center.

Responsibilities will include:

Caring for and interacting with children to support virtual learning and socially distant play, appropriate to the child’s age level

Meeting the individual needs of the children

Assisting students with their remote learning following their districts hybrid schedules

Assisting school-aged students with assignments and virtual class work

Maintaining a clean and orderly classroom that complies with governmental regulations and school procedures/policies

Working well alone or with co-teachers to create a safe and positive learning environment in the classroom

The applicant must meet the following criteria:

Must be at least 18 years old

Must have a high school diploma

Must be a good team player, have excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities, possess the ability to multi-task, and have exceptional oral and written communication skills

Must love children and be able to work with children ranging from 5 to 13 years old.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, have reliable transportation, and be available during our operating hours 6:30am-6:30pm Monday - Friday.

Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.

Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
