    Communications Coordinator/ Administrative Assistant at The Learning Experience are responsible for the marketing and outlook performance of the Center. They have an essential ability to apply their business acumen to customer engagement and leading people, ultimately creating an environment where others can thrive.The Administrative Assistant performs administrative and office support duties for Director and Education Director. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, touring prospective families, filings, etc. This person also helps with the day-to-day and overall operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines while supporting our mission to enhance learning and development for each child. With guidance from the Director and the Education Director, he or she will be responsible for marketing the facility and our programs.

    Administrative Assistant must maintain positive and supportive relationships with staff, children, parents, and all vendors. Our goal is that everyone that experiences TLE Aubrey enjoys a warm, positive experience. Administrative Assistant reports to the Director or the Education Director daily. He or she must have a good understanding of childcare management and early education. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Answer all phone calls including calls from the staff in the building. Checking the voicemail.

    Oversees Work and Family program- building new relationships with community and business leaders (Housing Communities, Chamber of Commerce, Local Businesses)

    Effectively uses social media channels for parent engagement and retention

    Nurtures leads through scheduling and conducting tours; follows up with potential families to secure enrollment; manages all new registrations and enrollments throughout their time at the school.

    Leads tours, highlighting key features of our brand and the center and maintains strong connections with potential customers

    Marketing and Advertising our facility and our program. Updating TLE Aubrey’s marketing calendar for the school.

    Conducting tours.

    Plans and executes all events and school functions with approval from the Director and the Curriculum Director prior to the implementation.

    Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.

    Qualifications:

    High school Diploma or GED minimum.

    3 or more years’ experience working with children in a childcare center

    Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions

    Must be able to interact and communicate with children, staff, and parents

    Must maintain at least 24 hours of training each year

    Ability to deal with children and make good decisions

    Technically savvy with social media- Facebook, Hootsuite, Microsite

    Proficient skills in typing, word processing, excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, et.

    Must have strong communication skills
