Position Overview: As Teacher Support Staff, you will play a crucial role in assisting our teaching team in delivering high-quality early childhood education programs. Your support will contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with experienced educators and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Support classroom management efforts by supervising children during various activities, transitions, and free play times.
Help prepare and organize materials, resources, and learning spaces to enhance the educational experiences of children.
Foster positive relationships with children, providing encouragement, guidance, and support as they explore and learn.
Assist with meal and snack times, ensuring children practice proper nutrition and hygiene habits.
Collaborate with lead teachers and center management to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment for all children.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred).
Previous experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting is desirable.
Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, children, and families.
Ability to follow directions, take initiative, and contribute to a positive and dynamic team environment.
