    Responsibilities

    Leads the overall site plan review process, resulting in a fully designed school, per company protocol

    Responsible for reviewing and approving all initial site plans and schematic construction designs, ensuring consistency with company design/brand objectives, jurisdictional codes, and architectural and quality standards.

    Partnering on the process of evolving The Learning Experience Center Prototype - in partnership with Operations, Licensing, and Construction teams and maintains the updated Prototype.

    Manages all design changes and modifications in The Learning Experience prototypical plans and specifications.

    Responsible for communicating all design directives to external Architects and incorporating these changes into the Prototype

    Confirms the endorsement of Operations and Licensing teams on site plans and schematic designs before progressing to the construction phase

    Provides clear, effective, and timely communication of design direction and internal and external changes. Identifies exceptions, proposes, and implements potential solutions.

    Regularly positively interacts with Architects, Landlords, and Developers to always have an up-to-date status on all projects and communicates potential delays to the Construction team.

    Update all dates pertaining to the site plan, schematic and CD reviews in Lucernex and save all versions of the plans to the company shared drive.

    Qualifications

    5+ years of experience in commercial, retail, or preschool development and construction project management; preferably with a multi-unit retail company with an emphasis on new stores

    Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Business preferred

    Strong knowledge of land development processes, including due diligence (surveys, Geotech, etc.), site plan approval, permitting, and construction

    Proficient in CAD and reading drawing sets

    Understanding general real estate practices, including leases, work letters, etc.

    Demonstrates strong project management skills by working simultaneously efficiently and effectively across multiple projects

    Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner

    Promotes a professional and cooperative working environment
