The Learning Tree is a nonprofit organization that has been providing Behavior Analytic services for almost 40 years. The Learning Tree serves more than 600 children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout the state of Alabama with four regional campuses and operates seven different programs! Services within these programs include residential and educational services, outpatient clinics, and public-school consultation services.
Our special education teachers work within schools that we operate for our residents to receive an individualized education suited to their unique and specific needs in a nurturing, supportive environment using applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. Children and adolescents in our educational and residential program receive 24-hour care. The disabilities of the children we serve range from nonverbal, lack of behavioral and emotional control, to those on the Autism spectrum.
