Job Description

We are seeking a Part Time Insurance Coverage Attorney to become a part of our team representing policyholders and insurers. You will prepare coverage opinions and letters in a wide range of subject areas, analyze potential cases, and possibly represent clients in coverage and bad faith litigation representing policyholders.

YOU WILL WORK REMOTELY SO YOUR LOCATION IS NOT IMPORTANT AS LONG AS YOU ARE LICENSED IN CALIFORNIA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research and draft legal opinions for insurers and corporate policyholders
• Advise clients
• Assist in preparing and prosecuting litigation on behalf of policyholders

​​QUALIFICATIONS:

• ESSENTIAL THAT CANDIDATES HAVE AT LEAST FIVE YEARS' EXPERIENCE ANALYZING INSURANCE COVERAGE ISSUES AND DRAFTING COVERAGE OPINIONS
• PREVIOUS REPRESENTATION OF INSURERS IN COVERAGE MATTERS
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Coverage litigation experience preferred
• California Bar member in good standing
