We are seeking a dynamic Sales Team Advocate. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities
Distribute daily incoming leads both electronic and via phone to appropriate Sales/Catering Team Members based upon office deployment
Redirect Sales related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
Act as a liaison with other departments or functions (Operations, Front Office, F&B, etc.)
Provide contractual turnover functions to operations team
Assist Sales Team with group booking strategies to include but not limited to proposal generation, contract generation, prospecting strategies, site visit assistance, business trip planning
Assist Director of Business Travel with VIP Client experiences both for on property as well as off property
Assist the Director of Sales with monthly expense itemization and record keeping
Perform customer site inspections when necessary to uncover needs and present solutions that will maximize booking opportunity and create strong customer relationships
Create VIP or Group resumes identifying and communicating traveler’s needs and acting as liaison to ensure all operational and marketing aspects of their stay are met
Review daily arrivals with Director of Business Travel to isolate potential new clients
Participate in meetings with hotel staff and clients, including but not exclusive to: Morning Operations Briefing, Morning CS Briefing, Resume Meeting, Sales Meeting, Pre-Convention Meetings and Planning Visits
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs
