Responsibilities: • Make sure dining room tables and chairs are neatly organized at all times and that condiments on the table are restocked if low • Clean up and clear plates after guests leave, and get the table ready for the next customers • Respond to phone inquiries professionally and secure reservations while ensuring all seating issues are quickly and efficiently handled • Learn the menu, including the daily specials and accurately describe how dishes are prepared • Welcome all diners with a friendly attitude to create an excellent first impression Qualifications: • This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED and a good command of the English language • Must be able to handle a fast-paced atmosphere with periods of standing on feet for an extended length of time • Prior food services, or hospitality service industry experience is preferred but not required • Skills needed for this role include excellent people skills, time management, organization skills, and the ability to handle customer requests and situations quickly with a pleasant demeanor
