Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager in Training will spend 10-12 months rotating throughout the Culinary department in various restaurants in order to gain a broad knowledge of the division. During the program the MIT will experience three culinary departments and will work all positions and all shifts. MIT will spend time during each rotation shadowing the department manager to learn supervisory skills necessary for each department. The MIT will participate in various Human Resources led learning modules throughout the program. At the conclusion of the program the MIT will be counseled on next steps for promotion into a supervisor or management role.

SUPERVISION GIVEN AND RECEIVED
Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Received: Works under direct supervision of the Department Manager. __ Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.
