    The Lobby (fromthelobby.com) – a new shopping concierge service that brings up-and-coming fashion brands (think Cuyana, Amour Vert and GREATS) to customers at their offices to try on before they buy – is looking to hire a Marketing Events Assistant.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    As a Marketing Events Assistant, you will support the Events Coordinator in bringing The Lobby to life in the workplace setting. You will wear many hats from event preparation to operations and marketing support. You will get to create memorable experiences while having the opportunity to meet our awesome community.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    The Marketing Event Assistant will support our in-office popup event initiatives from prep to execution. Specific responsibilities include:

    Offsite Pop-Ups

    • Load in and load out of event materials.
    • Set-up and breakdown of events, including but not limited to furniture, signage, décor, and merchandise.
    • Work as a Brand Ambassador for The Lobby on onsite events. Communicating the story of not just The Lobby but our featured brands.
    • Support customers with sales and sign-up flow.
    • Work cooperatively with our onsite partners.

    Event Operations

    • Track and prep all Pop-Up event inventory.
    • Produce post-mortem documents to recap all event metrics.
    • Reconcile event sales and sign-up information post event.

    Marketing Support

    • Support ad-hoc co-marketing initiatives 
    • Build out physical activation materials (swag bags, influencer samples, etc)

    ABOUT YOU

    • You are enthusiastic, positive and passionate about events; thirst for learning and sense of humor essential
    • You are the ultimate storyteller! (You love learning about new brands and products and telling everyone about what's so cool about them)
    • You have a deep love and knowledge of fashion
    • Innate ability to sell (prior retail experience is a plus)
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and able to think quick on your feet when problems arise
    • Excellent interpersonal qualities and works well with others
    • Results-driven, able to hit aggressive targets
    • Strong sense of urgency and follow through
    • Detail oriented and organized – able to juggle multiple things at once
    • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
    • Dependable: During this critical stage of growth, we need you to do what you say you'll do, when you said you'd do it, and be there for the team 100%

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 1 year experience working events or retail preferred
    • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs
    • Able to stand for at least 4 hours
    • Physically able to drive a delivery van and/or conduct courier deliveries throughout the city and peninsula as needed
    • Must communicate fluently in English
    • Have valid registration, insurance & license with at least one year driving experience.
    • Pass a DMV & background check
