The Lobby (fromthelobby.com) – a new shopping concierge service that brings up-and-coming fashion brands (think Outdoor Voices, Amour Vert and Sézane) to customers at their offices to try on before they buy – is looking to hire our first Full Stack Engineer.

A bit about the opportunity…

Since our company sits at the intersection of retail, data and operations/logistics, you will have the opportunity to work on all sorts of interesting and challenging projects across the business, including:

• Making our user experiences beautiful and delightful across devices and platforms.
• Working on our proprietary recommendation and machine learning algorithms
• Optimizing logistics
• Developing our in-house order management system

As an early employee and our first full-stack engineer (reporting directly to CTO), the role is ideal for someone who is a self starter and excited to work directly with product and operations and make an impact on the product and business.

This opportunity also comes with the potential to turn into a more leadership role as we (quickly) grow the engineering team next year.

Requirements:

• Experience using Ruby On Rails (two or more years desired)
• Computer Science degree (will waive for excellent candidates)
• A strong interest in web development, startups, all aspects of the tech stack, learning new things, working as a member of a team
• Full time availability to work in our office in SF (Dogpatch/Mission Bay).
