Our hotel is extremely busy, and we need a detail-oriented individual who is willing to perform a wide range of tasks to ensure that our guests have an exceptional experience. Responsibilities include keeping hotel public areas clean such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies. You will also support housekeeping by delivering items requested by guests such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, and bedding to guest rooms, and completing any special projects assigned by housekeeping managers. This is a part-time position, 2-3 days a week including weekends. Shifts may be both AM and PM shifts. Responsibilities: • Provide the highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests’ needs • Make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and linens • Walk all assigned floors at beginning of the shift and collect trash, soiled linen, and other items per management requests • Restock linen supply on each floor by transporting clean linen to the housekeeping storage facilities • Maintain the cleanliness of the guest rooms and hallways, as well as the lobby and other workspaces • Clean and maintain outdoor hotel facilities including parking lot, sidewalks, general grounds, and boat dock area • This is an active position and there is no time to waste during your shift. Your list of duties will be full every day. You will need to hustle to complete your tasks • Shifts will be both during normal business hours and/or Fridays and Saturdays from 2 pm - 10 pm • Assist the Maintenance Chief in maintaining the property preventative maintenance and repairs Qualifications: • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • Solid work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills • 1 year experience as a houseperson or housekeeper strongly desired • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Must be able to easily lift 50 pounds Compensation: $14 hourly
