    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    The field operations position at Looma provides a unique experience to learn about the ground level of a marketing operation. This opportunity is directed at self-starters who are motivated to learn and work as the foundation of Looma's mission. The Field Operations Associate's role is to ensure the reliability of our in-store network. Each Field Operations Associate will be responsible for a subset of Looma's stores, for which they will be tasked with installing new tablets, troubleshooting issues with existing tablets, and performing regular audits to ensure all tablets perform as expected.     LOCATION 

    The Field Operations Associate role is a remote role. As such, we are currently hiring for the position in the following locations and regions:

    • Myrtle Beach, SC

    ATTRIBUTES

    • Joyful – able to connect with store managers and be courteous to store employees
    • Reliable – responsive to outbound requests and diligent in adhering to deadlines
    • Organized, both with physical and electronic materials
    • Detailed, particularly in matters of aesthetics
    • Confident in Physical Abilities – comfortable lifting 20 lbs, climbing a 10 ft ladder, and other manual tasks
    • Proficient in Google Drive - experience (or a willingness to learn) Google Drive file structure

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Audit stores to determine where to install tablets
    • Install tablet software
    • Install new tablets
    • Troubleshoot tablets
    • Perform quarterly store audits
    • Track store visits, installations, etc. in Google Sheets

    STRUCTURE + COMPENSATION

    The Field Operations Associate is a part-time position that will be paid an hourly rate, typically in the $15 - $25 range. Due to the demand fluctuations that The Looma Project faces, some weeks may require 10+ hours of work, while other weeks may involve just 1.

We're building a nationwide network of At-Shelf Maker Stories, comprised of tablets in grocery stores that play short videos about the humans behind our products. The goal of our films is simple: we want to capture and share stories of people who love what they do, driving emotional affinity for both vendor and venue. Ultimately, our vision for the maker story platform is to replicate the communal feel of a farmers' market through a scalable channel that merges the online and offline experience.
