    LOOMA BACKGROUND Looma exists to connect shoppers to the people and stories behind food & beverage products. Our first product, Loop™ At-Shelf Maker Stories, is a network of smart tablets in grocery stores that play short, human-centric films connecting producer to consumer. The data generated by Loop™ fuels our proprietary storytelling process, forming a flywheel we believe will one day power the world's most sophisticated platform for human-centric point-of-decision video.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Head of Brand Sales is responsible for the entire CPG brand partner experience, including both sales and customer success. Because Loop™ programs require close coordination between our retail and brand partners, this role will involve relationship management for both — first in designing programs with our retail partners' buying teams, and then in selling campaigns to CPG brands. This role will be supported by either an account manager or a customer success associate, and we expect to grow the team further upon raising a Series A.

    This role will consist of three primary sets of responsibilities. These are listed below, along with the core work and projected time allocation for each.

    1. Brand Sales: 50%
    2. Brand Partner Experience Design: 30%
    3. Team Development & Management: 20%

    Brand Sales (50%)

    • Work with retail partners to understand their strategic objectives and design Loop™ programs accordingly
    • Work with retail partners to map target brand partners for each program
    • Sell Loop™ campaigns to target brand partners
    • Sell film production packages, and then pass the baton to our Story Success team
    • Pass the baton to your account manager / customer success associate for campaign implementation

    Brand Partner Experience Design (30%)

    • Map the brand partner journey, identifying pain points and areas of improvement
    • Design campaign management systems so brand partners are well-equipped before and during campaigns
    • Work with our Product team to design scalable systems for high-touch, high-volume functions like brand partner onboarding, resource management, etc.
    • Work with our Data Science team to design best-in-class reporting, both during and post campaign

    Team Development & Management (20%)

    • Assist in recruiting an account manager or customer success associate
    • Map Brand Sales team needs & structure post Series A

    • Hustle / tenacity: the idea of managing 100+ brand partner relationships is energizing, and you don't take ‘no' very seriously
    • Mission-aligned: you're excited to connect shoppers to the people behind their products, and you appreciate good film / stories
    • Experience in CPG sales, media / advertising sales, adult beverage, or startups are all bonuses, but not required

    STRUCTURE & COMPENSATION Looma will provide a competitive compensation package consisting of base salary, commission, and stock options. All Looma compensation packages include cash / equity flexibility (i.e. you can opt for more equity and less cash or vice-versa).
