We seek a Behavioral Clinical Supervisor to join our client's youth/early education program. The Clinical Supervisor will work to address the developmental, social/emotional, and cognitive needs of their patients (ages 2-5). This position is full-time, 100% on-site in Springfield, MA, and has flexible hours (8:00-4:30 pm; 9:00 am-5:30 pm or 7:30 am-3:30 pm)
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Mental Health related field required.
- Independent License in LMHC or LICSW required.
- 3 years experience working with children 2-5 years of age.
- 1-3 years experience designing and implementing therapies for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
- 1-3 years experience using data-based decision-making, including data collection, evaluation, and analysis.
- Must have sufficient mobility to meet the needs of children.
- Travel between sites is expected as meeting with staff is needed. A valid driver’s license is required, and the vehicle must be available during all working hours (the vehicle must be registered and inspected in accordance with the 540 CMR 4.00 required).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize task completion and scheduling, and effectively address urgent needs.
- Willingness to consistently learn and apply new skills/knowledge/approaches into practice.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Works collaboratively to create and lead program sessions for individual and/or small groups of children.
- Supports families in the implementation and understanding of IEPs.
- Attends and participates in IEP and family meetings.
- Creates and implements individualized service plans. Monitors individual children’s progress.
- Coordinates services and collaborates with outside therapists as needed. Make referrals to the Community Behavioral Health Centers (CBHC) as needed.
- Collects, records, and analyses Early Education and Care's classroom data (EEC).
- Assists in the integration of children into the classroom or family activities.
- Provide necessary training to staff.
